Robert Rihmeek Williams, professionally known as Meek Mill, is a renowned American rapper. His life began in Philadelphia, where he was raised with a passion for music. Initially, he started his career as a battle rapper, engaging in competitive rap battles. Subsequently, he formed a short-lived rap group, The Bloodhoundz, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In 2008, a significant breakthrough occurred when Atlanta-based rapper T.I. signed Meek Mill to his first record deal. This marked the beginning of his professional music career. However, in February 2011, Mill decided to part ways with Grand Hustle Records and instead signed with Miami-based rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG).
Under the guidance of MMG and Warner Bros. Records, Meek Mill released his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, in 2012. The album was preceded by the lead single "Amen," featuring the critically acclaimed rapper Drake. The album achieved significant commercial success, peaking at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
