Her impressive portfolio includes executive producing and directing the television special "Surrogate Stories," a two-hour program that explores the experiences of surrogate mothers and their intended parents. Megan has also worked on several documentary projects for WEtv, including "Child Brides" and "Polygamy." Her critically acclaimed independent documentary "Trial By Fire: Lives Re-Forged" has received widespread acclaim, with praise from Real Screen, the Los Angeles Times, and PBS International.
In addition to her documentary work, Megan has produced, directed, and co-written the award-winning documentary "The Buddy System," which tells the heartwarming story of a young boy on the autism spectrum and his specially trained autism assistance dog, Buddy. She has also helmed several other documentaries and is currently in pre-production for the feature film "A Stage of Twilight."
As a respected filmmaker, Megan has also ventured into the world of festival direction, having previously served as the festival director of the five-star rated Ridgefield Independent Film Festival. She is set to launch the inaugural Fairfield Film Festival in November 2021.
