Melissa, a multifaceted creative force, was born in the vibrant city of New York, but her early life was marked by a transatlantic upbringing in the City of Light, Paris, France.
After honing her craft as an actor in the film and television industry, Melissa made a seamless transition to the world of writing and directing, leveraging her extensive experience in shows such as the critically acclaimed "Lost", HBO's "Game Change", and CBC's "Strange Empire".
Melissa's directorial debut, the thought-provoking short film "Ready", premiered to great acclaim at various prestigious festivals, including the esteemed Hollyshorts, Aesthetica Pendance, Lone Star, and the coveted Cannes Short Film Corner.
Before embarking on her journey as a writer/director, Melissa had the distinction of graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California's Honors program in 2013.
