Melissa Taylor's early life was marked by a unique blend of cultural influences, as she was born to Italian-Croatian parents in the vibrant city of Toronto. As a youngster, she experienced a nomadic upbringing, splitting her time between Los Angeles, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona, before ultimately returning to her Canadian roots.
Throughout her childhood, Melissa developed a passion for various forms of physical expression, including figure skating, dancing, and playing varsity rugby at the University of Waterloo.
