Melvin Wong, a multifaceted individual, began his educational journey in San Francisco, California, where he attended Lowell High School.
He then pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley before transferring to the San Francisco Medical Center campus, where he earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
In 1996, Melvin expanded his academic horizons by obtaining a law degree from the University of London, UK, and the following year, he was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn.
Currently, Melvin practices law as a member of the Hong Kong Bar, while also making occasional film and television appearances.
One of his most notable television roles was in the extremely popular Hong Kong TV series "Kindred Spirit" (1996-98),which was produced by Television Broadcasts Limited and is still being aired in certain parts of mainland China and Southeast Asia.
Melvin played the popular character "Mousey" in the series, which is one of the longest-running and most popular TV series ever produced in Hong Kong.
In addition to his acting career, Melvin serves as a Vice-President of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, the Honorary Treasurer of the Middle Temple Society in Hong Kong, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Press Council.
