Meredith's early life was marked by her residence in Quebec until the age of 12, where she was surrounded by a musically inclined family. Her father and siblings were part of the band Tangleroot, while her mother served as the group's manager. This creative environment likely played a significant role in sparking Meredith's passion for the performing arts, as she began taking acting classes at the tender age of five.
As her skills continued to develop, Meredith was offered her first role as Aurora in the Showtime production "The Song Spinner" in 1995. She went on to appear as a guest star in the popular TV series "Goosebumps," playing the character Cara in the episode "Vampire Breath."
At the age of 12, Meredith landed her first major role as Shirley Holmes in the TV series "The Adventures of Shirley Holmes" (1997),which enjoyed a successful four-season run and was broadcast in 62 countries worldwide.
In 2005, Meredith collaborated with writer/director James Henderson and his sister Kristen Henderson to produce the independent feature "22 Hands." She subsequently became a partner in their production company, Sisbro & Co. Inc., and has since worked on various projects, including the independent feature "Shut Up and Deal." The couple is currently developing more films through their company.
Meredith's personal life is marked by her marriage to James Henderson, which took place on August 8th, 2008, in a ceremony officiated by a native elder. The couple divides their time between Toronto and Los Angeles, allowing them to maintain a strong presence in both cities.
