Meredith Salenger, a multifaceted individual, was born and raised in the picturesque city of Malibu, California, surrounded by the warmth and sunshine of the Golden State. She began her illustrious career in the entertainment industry at the tender age of 10, landing the role of a singing and dancing orphan in the iconic 1982 film "Annie," directed by the renowned John Huston.
As she grew older, Meredith's talent and dedication earned her leading roles in notable films, including "The Journey of Natty Gann" opposite John Cusack and Ray Wise, which garnered her the "Best Actress in a Drama" award at the Youth in Film Awards for her captivating portrayal of the tomboyish Natty Gann. This critically acclaimed film also holds the distinction of being the first American movie to win the gold award at the Moscow Film Festival.
After a stint in the teen film genre, Meredith took a four-year hiatus from Hollywood to pursue her passion for education, graduating cum laude with a degree in Psychology from Harvard University.
