Mershad Torabi, a multifaceted individual, hailing from both Iranian and Canadian backgrounds, currently residing in New York, has developed a profound passion for the art of acting during his high school days.
Under the guidance of his drama teacher, Paul Batten, Mershad was introduced to the world of auditions, which ultimately sparked his desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
In 2005, Mershad made the bold decision to leave his hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, behind and embark on a new journey in Los Angeles, driven by his unwavering dedication to turn his dreams into a reality.
Throughout his time in Los Angeles, Mershad has had the privilege of training under the tutelage of renowned instructors, Iris Klein and Larry Moss, at some of the top schools in the city.
Mershad's most recent venture, The Summerland Project, is a thought-provoking Sci-Fi thriller that boasts an impressive cast, including Ed Begley Jr., Eddie Jemison, Kate Vernon, Chris Ellis, and Debra Wilson.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Mershad holds membership in the prestigious Sag/Aftra organization and is also fluent in the languages of Farsi and Arabic.
