Mia Hjelte, a multifaceted Swedish actress and dancer, hails from Stockholm, Sweden, where she spent her formative years. At the tender age of 10, Mia embarked on a journey with the Royal Swedish Ballet School, where she honed her craft for an extended period.
Upon graduating, Mia seized the opportunity to refine her skills as an apprentice with the esteemed Vienna State Ballet, prior to joining the ranks of the Royal Swedish Ballet, where she was swiftly appointed a soloist. Mia's passion for acting was sparked when she landed the role of Penny Jonson in the musical theatre production of Dirty Dancing at the China Theatre in Stockholm.
In pursuit of further artistic development, Mia enrolled in the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and the renowned Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York, where she received her primary acting education. Following her graduation, Mia's big break arrived in the form of the lead role, Wilma, in the Norwegian feature film For Evig and Aldri, skillfully directed by Gunnbjörg Gunnarsdottir.
