Mia Riverton was born in Columbus, Ohio, where she spent her early years surrounded by her scientist parents and younger brother, Daniel. Growing up, she developed a passion for the performing arts, participating in local theatrical and musical productions that caught the attention of a talent agent.
As her talents began to flourish, Mia started landing commercials, TV, and theater roles on a regular basis. She continued to nurture her artistic pursuits throughout her childhood, winning numerous competitions and performing worldwide as an actress, singer, dancer, pianist, and violist.
Despite her busy schedule, Mia maintained an impressive academic record, earning straight-A averages at Park Tudor School and winning national academic awards for science, math, writing, and languages. In her senior year, she was flown to the White House to be honored by President Bill Clinton as a Presidential Scholar.
After completing high school, Mia attended Harvard University, where she continued to perform in various productions and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude after only six semesters. Recently, she relocated to Los Angeles and has been working steadily in film, television, and theater.
In her free time, Mia enjoys a variety of hobbies, including kickboxing, yoga, dance, horseback riding, piano, guitar, songwriting, and recording.
