Michael Daingerfield is a multifaceted performer, writer, and producer who has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry over the course of his three-decade-long career. His impressive versatility and dedication to his craft have earned him a reputation as a highly respected figure in film, television, voice-over, and voice-over education.
As a competitive tennis player, Michael was ranked nationally in Canada and received a 4-year tennis scholarship to Murray State University, an NCAA Division 1 school in Kentucky. It was during his time at Murray State that Michael discovered his true passion for performing. He began his career in stand-up comedy, performing at various venues including Yuk Yuks, The LA Improv, The Laugh Factory, and The Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 1999.
As a master impressionist and voice actor, Michael has impersonated some of the biggest stars in the world, including Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura in the Ace Ventura Animated Series on CBS, Harrison Ford as Han Solo in Lego Star Wars on Disney, and Chris Evans as Captain America in Marvel Superhero Adventures on Disney. He has also appeared in numerous animated TV series and feature film franchises, such as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Ninjago, Krypto The Superdog, and Sausage Party.
Michael's voice can be heard in various documentaries, series, and networks around the world, including Vicks, Travelers Insurance, Frontdoor, Northern Trust, Jensen Jewellers, Credelio Plus, and Honda. He is currently the narrator on Rust Valley Restorers S5 on History and Netflix, Top Ten Weather Disasters on TWC, and Mayday Air Disasters on TWC. Michael has also recently lent his voice to promotional campaigns for Doom Patrol on HBO Max and 80's Top Ten and Shark Tank on National Geographic.
As an on-camera actor, Michael has appeared in numerous TV series and feature films alongside stars such as Morgan Freeman, Billy Crystal, Seth MacFarlane, Julie Andrews, and Dwayne Johnson. He has also had roles in Smallville, Catwoman, Arrow, The Messengers, and Mr. Rock N Roll: The Alan Freed Story.
In addition to his work as a performer, Michael is the founder and co-director of On The Mic Training, the only government-accredited voice-over school in the English-speaking world to offer a 6-month full-time diploma program and a multi-level part-time course curriculum with locations in Vancouver and Toronto.
Throughout his career, Michael has been recognized with numerous nominations, including four Leo Awards and two UBCP/ACTRA Awards. He is represented by Red Talent Management, VOX, A3, and OAZ.
