Dr. Michael Eades, a renowned medical professional, was born in the city of Springfield, Missouri, and received his primary and secondary education within the state of Missouri, before pursuing higher education in Michigan and California.
He earned his undergraduate degree in engineering from California State Polytechnic University, a prestigious institution of higher learning, and subsequently went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Arkansas, a renowned center of medical excellence.
After completing his medical and post-graduate training, Dr. Eades and his wife, Mary Dan, co-founded Medi-Stat Medical Clinics, a chain of ambulatory out-patient family care clinics in central Arkansas, where they provided top-notch medical care to their patients.
Since 1986, Dr. Eades has been dedicated to the full-time practice of bariatric, nutritional, and metabolic medicine, utilizing his extensive knowledge and expertise to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Eades and his wife, Mary Dan, gained widespread recognition and acclaim through their appearances on a pair of highly successful infomercial shows, one of which focused on their Protein Power nutritional strategy, while the other showcased a nutritional supplement they developed for weight loss, called Metabosol.
Furthermore, the couple co-hosted a 26-episode PBS television cooking show, Low Carb CookwoRx, which they developed and co-wrote, educating viewers on the benefits of a low-carb diet and providing them with practical cooking tips and recipes.
