Michael Facciolo, the eldest child of a psychologist mother and an artist father, was born in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec. However, his formative years were spent in Barrie, Ontario, where he completed his high school education.
As a young aspiring actor, Michael sought guidance from renowned instructors Bruce Ducat and Dianne Hill Harden at the prestigious Young Actors Space in Los Angeles, California. This marked the beginning of his acting career.
After high school, Michael settled in Toronto, where he pursued his passion for the arts. He enrolled in classes at the Centre for the Arts and co-founded a theatre company inspired by the legendary Steppenwolf, dubbed "The Young Company."
Michael's breakthrough role came when he was cast in Clement Virgo's film "Lie With Me," following his impressive performance in the stage play "In Between." This marked a significant milestone in his career.
In recent years, Michael has ventured into film production, bringing to life the independent documentary "Don't You Forget About Me." This film is a poignant tribute to the elusive and iconic teen film director, John Hughes, whose search for inspiration is skillfully captured on screen.
