Biography

Michael Kelber, the youngest of five siblings, was born in Lakewood, New Jersey. Despite his birthplace, he spent most of his childhood in Bricktown, where he was raised by his mother, Patricia A. Kelber, after his parents' divorce when he was just two years old.

After completing high school, Michael briefly attended college before joining the United States Navy. It was during his time in the military that he discovered his true calling was to become an actor. The 1988 film "Permanent Record" had a profound impact on his life, altering his plans and giving him direction.

Following his separation from the military in 1991, Michael spent several months in Germany before returning to New Jersey to continue his education. In 1995, he made the bold decision to relocate to New York City in pursuit of an acting career. There, he honed his craft at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and H.B. Studio, appearing in various off-Broadway productions, independent films, and television shows.

It was during this time that he met his wife, Patricia Lara, and decided to make the move to Los Angeles. Since arriving in Los Angeles, Michael has worked both in front of and behind the camera, establishing himself as an accomplished actor and director.

In 2006, he wrote, produced, and directed his debut feature film, "Bricktown." He also wrote, produced, acted in, and directed a sitcom pilot entitled HOA (Home Owner's Association). With the unwavering support of his loving wife, Michael continues to chase his dreams, driven by his passion for the entertainment industry.
