Michael Kennedy is an award-winning director, renowned for his bold visual storytelling, which has led to the creation of memorable movies and TV shows that have achieved critical and commercial success while tackling significant social issues. Throughout his illustrious career, he has directed an impressive 24 feature-length movies and over 230 episodes of prime-time drama and comedy, showcasing his versatility and range as a director.
One of his most notable projects is the groundbreaking hit series "Little Mosque On The Prairie", which he directed for its entire first season. This show used humor to address racism against Muslims in the post-911 world, and it was a critical and commercial success. Michael's work on this series earned him a co-win of The Canada Award, one of the Special Gemini Awards, for promoting diversity in Canadian television.
