Biography

Michael Peter Harrison was born on April 13th, 1990, in Twickenham, Middlesex. His early introduction to the world of acting came at the tender age of four, courtesy of his older sister, who sparked his interest in the performing arts. Together, they participated in numerous drama festivals and shows, earning Michael a plethora of medals and awards for his outstanding performances.

As he grew older, Michael continued to hone his craft, joining a Youth Musical Theatre company at the age of 11. During his time with the company, he took on a variety of roles, including The Lion in Wizard of Oz and Dr. Parker in Bat Boy, showcasing his range and versatility on stages across London and the South East.

At 14, Michael was accepted into the prestigious BRIT school of Performing Arts, where he continued to develop his skills, taking on roles such as Ben Barachyal in Ritual In Blood and Biondello in Taming of the Shrew. His talents did not go unnoticed, as he was selected for the final Company year at 18, participating in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a piece written and researched by Company members, titled As You Were. The production received a four-star review from The Scotsman.

Michael's experience at BRIT also led to a summer workshop season with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in Stratford Upon Avon, where he had the opportunity to perform the role of Malvolio in Twelfth Night.

At 19, Michael was invited to audition for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and was successful in gaining a place at the Academy in Los Angeles, California. He moved to the USA at 20 to commence his studies, graduating three years later. During his time at the Academy, Michael performed in numerous productions, including Eugene in Biloxi Blues, Howie in Rabbit Hole, and Gary Essendine in Present Laughter.

Since graduating, Michael has continued to work in the industry, performing in productions such as Tony Tanner's Something in Silver for Shakespeare in LA. He has also appeared in three consecutive Hollywood Fringe Festivals, receiving excellent reviews, and has made television appearances in a web production for FILMONTV.com. Additionally, he has been featured in a short film, Two Men on Planet Ten, which was submitted to several film festivals.

Throughout his career, Michael has demonstrated his passion, diversity, and creativity as an actor, showcasing his ability to effortlessly transition between comedic and dramatic roles.
