Michael's career spans multiple decades, commencing as a child actor in the 1970s. He later transitioned into the music industry, releasing a string of albums within the glam-rock genre during the 1980s. Concurrently, he ventured into directing music videos and commercials, as well as selling scripts that would eventually be adapted into feature films.
Following this period, Michael took a hiatus from the entertainment industry to delve into the burgeoning dot-com world. He co-founded a successful website company, responsible for launching online presences for prominent brands such as Mitsubishi and UCLA. Eventually, he sold the business and pursued a career in law, before re-entering the entertainment sphere.
Michael founded Silver Wings Productions, overseeing the production of films like "Critical Mass" and "This Island Earth...". He later served as the head of business affairs for Harvey Entertainment, overseeing projects like "Casper, the Friendly Ghost" and "Richie Rich". Additionally, he worked on production projects for Universal, Paramount Classics, and Disney.
As a founding partner in Black Sky Entertainment, Michael was instrumental in producing "Cabin Fever" and is currently working on its next project, "Site Unseen". He also owns his own production banner, responsible for the "Climb On!" extreme sports series. Furthermore, Michael is directing "TechnoSmog", slated for release in December 2003, as well as producing several feature films, including the Sundance Film Festival short "Blind Man's Bluff" and "Billy Whiteman", based on the upcoming novel by Sid Jacobson.
