Michael's life story began in Jersey City, where he was raised and spent his formative years. Little did he know that his junior year of high school would mark the start of his journey towards artistic recognition. On a whim, he decided to audition for New Jersey's Governor's School of the Arts, hoping to get out of the house and explore new horizons. To his surprise, he was one of the 12 students selected across the state, earning him a spot among the crème de la crème.
This prestigious recognition led to a full scholarship to the Catholic University of America, where he went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. To support himself during his college years, Michael honed his skills as a theater carpenter, often building the sets that he would later perform on. Early in his college career, he took on the roles of Jim O'Connor in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie and The Beast in Beauty and the Beast, showcasing his versatility as a performer.
Michael's foray into the world of feature films was marked by appearances in several notable productions, including The River Murders alongside Ray Liotta, Nowhere Man, Desolation Angels (a Telluride Film Festival winner),and Under Hellgate Bridge. Fans of television dramas may also recognize him from his early role as Cameron on NBC's Another World. Since then, he has made numerous guest appearances on shows such as Hawaii Five-0, Castle, Major Crimes, Rizzoli & Isles, Saving Grace, The Mentalist, 24, and Bones, as well as several Jerry Bruckheimer productions, including CSI: Miami, Without a Trace, Close to Home, and Cold Case.
In addition to his acting credits, Michael has lent his voice to several video games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops II and L.A. Noire. When he's not busy with his acting career, Michael dedicates his time to working with non-profit organizations, focusing on building housing for the homeless, particularly seniors and veterans, as well as at-risk foster youth. To stay physically active, he practices Krav Maga and enjoys tuna fishing and salsa dancing. He is also an avid film festival attendee, always on the lookout for new and exciting cinematic experiences.
