Michael Graeme Shanks is a Scottish Labour Party politician who has held the esteemed position of Member of Parliament for the constituency of Rutherglen, a role he has occupied since 2023. Prior to this, he represented the merged constituency of Rutherglen and Hamilton West.
It is worth noting that in addition to his parliamentary duties, Michael Graeme Shanks has also taken on the significant responsibility of serving as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Energy, a role he has held since July 2024.
