Michaele, a vibrant and outgoing young lady, was born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. Her early life was marked by a passion for self-expression, often talking a lot and entertaining those around her. In fact, her mother's friends would frequently ask, "When is Michaele's bedtime?" as a testament to her energetic personality.
Growing up, Michaele found inspiration in her favorite TV shows, particularly "The Cosby Show" and "Polly!", which sparked her desire to become a television personality. She would memorize lines, songs, and dances, and even continues to perform for her husband to this day.
Michaele's fascination with television led her to develop a strong interest in the popular show "A Different World", which was set on the fictional campus of Hillman College. She was captivated by the characters and their experiences, and often fantasized about attending an Historically Black College or University (HBCU),living in a dorm, and pledging a sorority like Whitley Gilbert.
After deciding that she couldn't major in acting on camera, Michaele chose to major in theatre at one of the top HBCUs, Dillard University in New Orleans. During her time at Dillard, she had the ultimate college experience, starring in plays, building lifelong relationships, partying, and even pledging Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Following her time at Dillard, Michaele returned to the Chicagoland area, where she became the face of Vitale hair relaxer box and appeared on billboards. She also modeled for Ebony magazine in a Clairol advertorial that featured Harry Belafonte and Common on the cover. In addition, she won honorable mention as Lead Actress in "Miss Represent" in the Top Shorts Film Festival, which streams on Prime Video.
One of Michaele's most notable experiences was her co-star role in Lena Waithe's Season 4 of "The Chi" on Showtime. Working alongside phenomenal actors and crew members, Michaele felt a sense of accomplishment and had finally "arrived" in her career.
Although Michaele doesn't consider herself a soloist, she is grateful for the song that God has placed deep within her soul. The lyrics remind her that her time is now, and she is ready to manifest her dreams. With a sense of purpose, Michaele is excited to share her true life on screen, celebrating and inspiring others through her story.
