Michel Poulette is a renowned Canadian film director, known for his versatility in handling various genres, from comedy to drama, and his ability to work with acclaimed actors. Born and raised in Quebec, Poulette began his career in French television, where he worked freelance for major broadcast networks and earned 20 Gemeaux Awards for his programs.
Poulette's breakthrough in the English market came with his comedy film "King of the Airways" (1994),which was later remade by director Ron Howard as "Edtv" (1999). He went on to direct the critically acclaimed film "Bonanno: A Godfather's Story" (1999),a five-hour epic mini-series that earned Showtime's Best Ratings in 1999.
