Michelle, a talented individual, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Toronto, where she was nurtured in the world of drama from a young age. As she entered her late teenage years, she seized the opportunity to attend The National Theatre School in Montreal, a prestigious institution that would lay the foundation for her future success. Upon completing her studies, Michelle made the bold decision to relocate to Stratford, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and thriving theatrical scene. For many seasons, she had the privilege of performing alongside some of the most talented actors of her time as a member of the Stratford Festival Company. Her impressive skills and versatility as an actor also took her on the road, with notable performances in New York City's iconic New York City Center and the esteemed Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, where she shared the stage with esteemed actors such as William Hutt and Brian Bedford. After gaining valuable experience and honing her craft, Michelle took a significant step in her career by joining the inaugural CFC Actors' Conservatory, a program designed to foster the growth and development of aspiring actors. Shortly after, she made her mark in the world of film by starring in her first feature, Blood Pressure, a cinematic endeavor directed by the talented Sean Garrity.
