Biography

Michelle Keserwany, a multifaceted Lebanese creative, has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry through her work as a musician, writer, and filmmaker.

As a co-screenwriter, Keserwany collaborated with acclaimed director Nadine Labaki on the screenplay for the critically acclaimed film Capernaum, released in 2018. Since then, she has been actively developing her own film projects, showcasing her innovative storytelling abilities.

In 2019, Keserwany received a prestigious residency scholarship to the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, allowing her to explore the city's vibrant cultural scene and hone her craft. As a result, she has been dividing her time between Beirut, her hometown, and the City of Light, where she continues to draw inspiration from the rich artistic heritage of both cities.

Keserwany's debut short film, Les chenilles, is a testament to her talent as a filmmaker. Written and co-directed with her sister Noel Keserwany, the film showcases the siblings' unique creative chemistry and ability to craft compelling narratives.
