Michelle McLeod, a talented Toronto-based actor, hails from Peterborough, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Film, and is a proud graduate of the esteemed Second City Conservatory Program in Toronto and the Canadian Film Centre's Actors Residency.
Michelle's passion for acting began at the tender age of 11, when she landed her first role as the "Lollipop Girl" in a community theatre production of The Music Man. Growing up in a family of cinephiles, her early love of storytelling through performance naturally evolved into a dedicated career in film and theatre.
Michelle's impressive credits include her standout performances as Irene in Pat Mills' Don't Talk to Irene (2017),starring alongside the talented Geena Davis, and as Mejal in Sarah Polley's Women Talking (2022),alongside a talented ensemble cast featuring Claire Foy, Rooney Mara, Jessie Buckley, Sheila McCarthy, Judith Ivey, Ben Whishaw, and Frances McDormand.
Additional credits include Honey Bee with Julia Sarah Stone, Martha Plimpton, and Peter Outerbridge; My Spy with Dave Bautista; the series Tin Star opposite Tim Roth; BBC's Creeped Out; a recurring role on Netflix's Workin' Moms; and Patti Berger in Natasha Rothwell's How to Die Alone (Disney/Hulu),which won the 2025 Spirit Award for Best Ensemble.
