Michelle A. Rhee is a renowned education reform advocate and former public official, born on December 25, 1969. As the former chancellor of the District of Columbia Public Schools system in Washington, D.C., she has made significant contributions to the education sector. In 1997, Rhee founded The New Teacher Project (TNTP),a non-profit organization that has successfully recruited over 10,000 teachers across twenty states in the United States.
