Michael Joseph DiGiacinto was born in Belleville, New Jersey, to Michael and Elaine DiGiacinto. His father's family hails from Jersey City, NJ, while his mother's family originates from Brooklyn, NY. Interestingly, his name has its roots in the small farming village of Arsita, located in the Abruzzo province of Italy.
DiGiacinto attended Nutley High School in New Jersey, where he was an accomplished student, being a member of The National Honor Society and captain of his basketball team. He then pursued his freshman year of college at The University of Maryland, but his aspirations of living in Southern California led him to transfer to San Diego State University in his sophomore year. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Acting, and during his time at SDSU, he was also a member of The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
Since then, DiGiacinto has worked professionally in various aspects of the acting community, with residences in both Los Angeles and New York. His extensive career has taken him to four different countries, thirteen different states, and he has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning and nominated directors and actors. His films have been showcased at numerous prestigious film festivals, including The Cannes Film Festival, The New York City International Film Festival, The Beverly Hills Film Festival, The Austin Film Festival, and The Chicago Comedy Film Festival, among others.
As a proud member of The Screen Actor's Guild, Actor's Equity Association, and The American Federation of Television & Radio Artists, DiGiacinto has established himself as a dedicated and accomplished actor. Currently, he resides in New York.
