Mike Mosallam is a multifaceted creative force, exceling in the realms of theatre, film, and television as a producer, director, and writer. Through his production company, Mike Mosallam Productions, he and his team have brought numerous projects to life, including short films such as Breaking Fast, which premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and Brothers, a 12-time award-winning film that has garnered widespread acclaim.
Another notable short film in his repertoire is Ubuntu, a co-production with the Muslim Public Affairs Council, which has also received numerous accolades. Building upon his success in the short film arena, Mike made his feature film debut with Breaking Fast, based on the short, which had its Los Angeles premiere at Outfest Fusion and boasts an impressive 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
After traversing the global festival circuit, where it won numerous major awards, Breaking Fast was acquired for distribution by Vertical Entertainment and released on various popular platforms, including Hulu, Apple TV, iTunes, Amazon, and more. In addition to his work in film, Mike is also the creator and Co-Executive-Producer of the critically acclaimed TLC series, All-American Muslim.
More recently, Mike served as an Executive Creative Consultant on Season 2 of Hulu's Ramy, specifically on episode 9. Throughout his career, Mike has remained committed to his heritage and identity as a proud Muslim, Lebanese American.
