Mike Stoklasa is a multifaceted creative force, serving as a director, actor, and driving force behind the innovative film/video production company, RedLetterMedia. He is perhaps most renowned for his trilogy of scathing reviews, specifically targeting the Star Wars prequels: The Phantom Menace Review (2009),Attack of the Clones Review (2010),and Revenge of the Sith Review (2010).
As the co-founder of RedLetterMedia, alongside Jay Bauman, Stoklasa has spearheaded a wide range of projects under the banner, including short comedies, web series, and review-based content. Some notable examples of his work include The Grabowskis (2007),Half in the Bag (2011),Best of the Worst (2013),and re:View (2016).
The genesis of Stoklasa's video review career can be traced back to 2008, when he rewatched Star Trek Generations and became inspired to share his thoughts with others. Initially, he found his own voice to be too dull for the review, so he adopted the persona of Harry S. Plinkett, a character he had previously developed in several short films.
