Mikhail Chernyak is a renowned Russian theater, film, and dubbing actor, radio host, and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, awarded in 2005. He is widely recognized for his iconic voice acting roles in popular animated series, including Smeshariki, Transformers, and the Mill studio series.
Born on November 13, 1964, in Leningrad, Mikhail Chernyak was introduced to the world of theater and public performances at a young age. As a schoolboy, he attended the Theater of Youth Creativity, where he developed his skills under the guidance of stage masters. After completing his secondary education at lyceum number 395, Chernyak enrolled in the LGITMiK department of acting skills, mentored by the esteemed Zinoviy Yakovlevich Korogodsky.
Upon graduating in 1985, Chernyak became an artist at the Young Theater, where he began to take on his first roles, including the young Kai in The Snow Queen, the porcupine Saga from the story of Mowgli, and the boy Tommy from the story Peppy Longstocking. Six years later, he made his directorial debut and has since repeatedly directed productions on the stage of his native theater.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mikhail Chernyak has demonstrated his versatility as a performer, seamlessly transitioning between dramatic scenes, classical productions, and new drama.
