Milos Makovec, a renowned director and writer, made his entry into the world on December 11, 1919, in the charming town of Turnov, situated in the picturesque region of Bohemia, which was then a part of the Czechoslovakia, but is now proudly a part of the Czech Republic.
Throughout his illustrious career, Makovec left an indelible mark on the world of cinema, with his notable works including the 1957 masterpiece "Ztracenci", the 1959 thought-provoking film "O vecech nadprirozených", and the 1969 critically acclaimed "Prague Nights".
Tragically, Milos Makovec's life came to a close on February 10, 2000, in the vibrant city of Prague, which is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic.
