Mimi Maynard is a multi-talented professional with an impressive 15-year tenure as a Producer, Casting Director, and Voice Director of Animated Features. Her extensive credits include the groundbreaking stereoscopic 3D animated feature "Fly Me To The Moon", the commercially successful "Sammy's Adventures: A Turtle's Tale", which grossed over 100 million dollars and received nominations and awards from the European Film Awards and Cartoon Movies.
Maynard's work also encompasses the sequel "A Turtle's Tale Escape From Paradise", as well as 3D animated ride attractions such as "Turtle Vision", "Sammy and Ray", and "Fly Me To The Moon". Her most recent projects include "Thunder and The House of Magic", "The Wild Life" (also known as "Robinson Crusoe and The Legend of Big Foot"),and "Turtle Vision", all of which feature 3D stereoscopic animation.
Currently, Maynard and her partner, Paulette Lifton, are adapting, casting, and voice directing for various independent animation companies worldwide. They are also developing an animated series with Nancy Cartwright and Spotted Cow Entertainment.
In addition to her animation credits, Maynard has extensive experience in casting and directing projects for both animation and live-action, including dubbing for numerous international companies over the past 15 years. Prior to her work in animation, Maynard worked as an actress, sound designer, ADR artist, and voice-over artist, with dubbing experience including scheduling, casting, celebrity casting, voice directing, and talent hiring for translation, transcription, writing, music lyricist, singers, conductor, and music lyric replacement.
On the production side, Maynard was co-owner of various production companies, recruiting talent and developing projects for management, television, and motion pictures. Notably, she produced and oversaw the development of the Japanese television series "Gundam" into an American-made-for-television movie.
