Miranda de Pencier, a talented individual, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada. She embarked on an educational journey, pursuing a dual degree in Theatre Performance and Philosophy at Concordia University, and later honing her acting skills by majoring in Acting at New York University.
Throughout her illustrious career, spanning 15 years, de Pencier demonstrated her remarkable versatility as a performer, appearing in a wide range of television, film, and stage productions. Her impressive repertoire includes notable roles such as "Josie Pye" in the esteemed Emmy Award-winning "Anne of Green Gables" and starring in the original Canadian premiere stage productions of "Les Miserables" and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Aspects of Love".
After a successful acting and singing career, de Pencier transitioned to producing, bringing her unique expertise and creative vision to the industry. She served as the Director of Development for Robert Redford's Wildwood company, where she played a pivotal role in developing several film projects, including the critically acclaimed "The Motorcycle Diaries" and "Spy Game". Subsequently, de Pencier founded her own production company, Northwood Productions, where she continues to nurture and bring to life innovative and captivating stories.
