Miranda Kay is a Canadian actress with a rich cultural heritage, boasting Mexican and Polish roots. Her journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of 9, when she enrolled in the CEA Infantil (Artistic Education Center of Televisa for Children) to hone her craft. For two years, she studied acting alongside her peers, laying the foundation for a successful career to come.
As she entered her pre-teen years, Miranda took on her first major role in the popular Mexican soap opera "Mi Corazon Es Tuyo," playing the character of Briana from 2013 to 2014. Her talent and dedication did not go unnoticed, as she was soon cast in the lead role of Isabel in the 2013 film "While The Wolfs Away." The movie's release in January 2017 brought with it a slew of accolades, as Miranda received two nominations for "Female Revelation" at the prestigious Premios CANACINE 2018 and Diosas de Plata by PECIME (cinematography journalists of Mexico).
Following her early success, Miranda continued to appear in various soap operas, taking on both series regular and recurring roles. In January 2019, at the age of 16, she embarked on a new chapter in her acting journey by entering the CEA Televisa (Artistic Education Center of Televisa for Youth),one of the most esteemed acting programs in Latin America. During her time at the academy, she landed the role of Laura in the 2019 film "Karem, The Possession," directed by Henry Bedwell. The movie's release earned her a nomination for "Female Revelation" at the Premios CANACINE 2023.
Upon completing her studies at the CEA Televisa, Miranda graduated with honors in 2021. She soon found herself playing the role of Clarita in the soap opera "Contigo Si." In the summer of 2022, she made the bold decision to relocate to Toronto, where she continues to pursue her passion for acting in Canadian TV and film.
