Her academic pursuits continued as she was accepted into the esteemed Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she diligently pursued her passion for the performing arts, ultimately earning her degree in 2004.

Pohla embarked on her illustrious professional journey as an actress at the esteemed Estonian Drama Theatre in Tallinn, a tenure that spanned from 2004 to 2006. During this formative period, she garnered a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her remarkable portrayal of Elsa Seebalt in Adolf Rühka's poignant play, "Lühikene elu". This notable achievement served as a precursor to her subsequent affiliation with Theatre NO99 in Tallinn, where she remained a valued member of the troupe from 2006 to 2014. Her impressive performance during this time earned her the prestigious Best Supporting Actress prize at the Estonian Annual Theatre Awards in 2012.
