Mohamad Moe Sabbah, a gifted and accomplished filmmaker with a strong professional foundation, hails from the vibrant city of Beirut, Lebanon, where he set out to pursue his passion for filmmaking by enrolling in the esteemed ALBA institute.
Sabbah's academic career was marked by a remarkable level of success, as his short films gained widespread international acclaim. In particular, his 2012 short film, "The Return", achieved a notable milestone, receiving an invitation to the prestigious Short Film Corner at the renowned Cannes Film Festival.
During the winter semester of the academic year 2015-2016, Sabbah had the esteemed privilege of being a guest at the prestigious International Class (ICLA) of the renowned Film Academy Ludwigsburg, a highly respected institution in Germany, where he had the opportunity to further hone his scriptwriting abilities for his debut feature-length film, titled "Chronic".
Sabbah's extensive experience in the film industry extends far beyond his impressive portfolio of feature films, as he has also developed his skills as a multifaceted professional, effortlessly transitioning between roles as an assistant director and director on a diverse array of projects, including television commercials, advertising campaigns, and music videos.
One of the most notable examples of Sabbah's impressive work in the music video realm is his 2017 collaboration with the talented artists Zahzah and Khansa, on their stunning adaptation of the timeless 1929 classic "Khayef", originally composed by the legendary Mohammad Abdel Wahab. This innovative project garnered widespread attention and critical acclaim, cementing Sabbah's reputation as a masterful director with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the art of storytelling.
