Morganna Bramah was born on April 8, 1980, in Salford, a metropolitan borough of Greater Manchester in the United Kingdom. She was delivered at Hope Hospital, now known as Salford Royal, to musician parents, Una Baines and Martin Bramah, who were the original founding members of the cult Mancunian post-Punk band The Fall.
Morganna's early life was marked by her parents' musical endeavors, as she was most notably babysat by Nico of The Velvet Underground and Manchester Punk Poet John Cooper Clarke, among other celebrated luminaries. Showing a keen interest in drawing, Morganna pursued Art throughout her school years, attending the Anna Scher Theatre School in the summer of 1992.
She then attended the Northenden campus of City College Manchester, where she successfully completed a course in Art & Design. Morganna's artistic talents continued to flourish as she enrolled in a Graphic Design course, completing the first year before being presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Spotted in a comic book store in the now-gone Manchester Coliseum in 1998, Morganna became a 'Tomb Raider' impersonator, cosplaying as the iconic gaming heroine at Manchester's first-ever Comic Con at the G-Mex Centre and many events throughout the UK.
After a cease desist order was sent by Eidos Interactive, Morganna began to pursue new interests, delving into the rich world of Gothic subculture. She, with her then-fiancé, started working on the short-lived but beloved "Club Elysium" night at the Piccadilly Bierkeller. As the dark dream faded, so did her relationship, and Morganna used her graphic design skills to start over as a Web Designer.
Years later, in 2010, Morganna was spotted again, this time by the Goth Metal band 'No Redemption', at Jilly's Rockworld's final ever Friday all-nighter. She was cast as 'Sharon the Dancer' in their psychological horror 'The Hollow', thus kick-starting a career in Acting that she believed was merely a childhood fantasy.
Morganna has since accumulated eight titles under her belt, plus many television appearances. She is also an alternative Model and an ardent Activist.
