Morrison James is an Australian actor and voice actor who has worn many hats - husband, father, artist, story teller, and of course, actor. His mantra is "I don't need people to 'like' my page, just love my work!" He began his love affair with music, singing, and acting at the tender age of 8, writing, directing, and starring in various school dramas. This passion continued through secondary school, where he was involved in school choirs and bands, and even joined his local community theatre in his teenage years. He gained valuable experience in acting, singing, dancing, lighting, production, theatrical music, and stage crew.
After taking a break from acting in his early twenties to pursue other passions, Morrison returned to his love of acting in 2013. He began by performing in front of the camera for the first time in 2013 and 2014, and went on to land roles in the drama/documentary "The Dalfram Dispute 1938: Pig Iron Bob" (2015),which was nominated for an award at the 15th Screen Producers of Australia Awards.
Morrison then spent time in the United States, where he gained top professional acting coaching and graduated with a degree in Acting for Film and Television from the New York Film Academy (N.Y.F.A) in Los Angeles. While there, he worked with some of the best acting coaches in Los Angeles and completed some short films.
Upon returning to Australia, Morrison has been busy pursuing opportunities to further his acting career, completing filming on multiple feature films, ADR for feature films, short films, network television series, and various voice acting roles. He has also continued his training, attending courses at Maura Fay, Screen wise Acting School, AMAW - Sydney, AMAW - Los Angeles, and even graduating with a diploma in Advanced Screen Acting Ensemble Extended from N.I.D.A - National Institute of Dramatic Art - Sydney Australia.
Morrison's hard work and professionalism have paid off, and he has obtained the coveted U.S-01 VISA, allowing him to work in the United States. He has recently returned from the U.S, where he was cast as co-lead in the feature film "Death's Sonata" and has also worked on a thriller feature film in Germany. Morrison currently resides in Sydney, Australia, and his versatility can be seen in the mixture of dramatic and comedic public reels.
