Mostafa's life journey began in Denmark, where he was born, before he was raised in Egypt, surrounded by the diplomatic community. His family's global connections led to a unique upbringing, which ultimately influenced his perspective on life. In 2007, his father's retirement brought the family to San Francisco, California, where Mostafa would discover his passion for filmmaking and the performing arts at the tender age of 16.
This newfound passion led him to enroll in theater and cinematography classes during his college years, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. However, his life took a devastating turn when his mother lost her battle with breast cancer at a young age. The loss was profound, and Mostafa found solace in the world of theater and martial arts.
Through these outlets, he was able to express his emotions and cope with the grief. He honed his skills in various theater productions, including notable roles in Macbeth and Legally Blonde. Moreover, his dedication to martial arts earned him a gold medal in the 2010 Judo state championships as a brown belt.
Mostafa's martial arts journey continued, with multiple competitions in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu between 2010 and 2016. Even today, he remains an avid martial artist, training in stunts, horseback riding, and other disciplines. After completing his education, Mostafa devoted himself to pursuing his acting dream, studying with various acting studios and slowly making a name for himself in the film and television industry.
His big break came when he secured his first TV credit on the Netflix hit series, 13 Reasons Why. This milestone marked the beginning of his professional journey, as he continued to work tirelessly towards achieving his goals in the entertainment industry.
