Mungo's extensive involvement in the film industry spans over three decades, since his debut as an actor in 1989. Throughout his illustrious career, he has amassed an impressive portfolio of over 100 credits, including a diverse range of short films, television productions, and feature films. Many of these projects have garnered international recognition, having been showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide, such as the Toronto International Film Festival, the Melbourne International Film Festival, and the American International Film Festival, to name a few.
Mungo's educational background is equally impressive, with a Diploma of Film and Television Acting from The Actors' Workshop, as well as a Certificate IV in training and assessment. Notably, he has also honed his teaching skills, having taught the acting for camera program at The Actors Workshop for an impressive 17 years. Additionally, he has conducted short courses for various schools and agencies, including the Aboriginal Center for performing Arts, Mill Street Studios, Tamblyn Models, and AED Management.
