Nadine Khan is a multifaceted filmmaker who has made a significant impact in the industry with her diverse range of work. Born and raised in Cairo, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in film directing from the esteemed Egyptian Higher Film Institute, which she earned in 2001.
Since then, Khan has gone on to direct a multitude of projects, including fiction films, commercials, TV series, and music videos. Her debut feature film, Chaos, Disorder/ Harag w' Marag, won several prestigious awards, including the Jury Prize at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2012, and the Best Film award at the Oran Film Festival in Algeria in 2013, and the Muscat International Film Festival in Oman in 2014.
One of Khan's notable short films, One in a Million, which was released in 2006, was selected for the official competition at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and was subsequently acquired by the ZDF Kultur.
In addition to her work as a director, Khan has also gained extensive experience as a second unit and first assistant director, working on numerous TV commercials with renowned directors such as Rob Sanders and Ali Ali, as well as international feature films produced by DreamWorks, Arte, and Pathé.
Her critically acclaimed TV series, Seventh Neighbor/ Saabe' Gaar, which was produced by CBC and aired in 2017, received widespread acclaim and popularity throughout the MENA region.
Throughout her illustrious career, Khan has demonstrated her versatility and talent as a filmmaker, and has established herself as a prominent figure in the industry.
