Nancy Locke Capers, a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the film and television industry in Los Angeles, has transitioned to a fulfilling career in psychotherapy in San Diego, California, after obtaining her license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state.
Throughout her illustrious career, Capers has worn many hats, including those of actress, screenwriter, theatre director, and producer. Although she still dabbles in television work and theatre, she has found a new sense of purpose in her psychotherapy practice.
In addition to her work in psychotherapy, Capers has collaborated with her husband, Hedges Capers, to co-write the musical "The Geeze & Me". She also had the privilege of directing the production, which premiered in San Diego to sold-out crowds and thunderous standing ovations last year.
As of 2018, Capers and her husband are in negotiations to take their critically acclaimed musical on tour, bringing their creative vision to audiences across the country.
