Naomi Snieckus is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Canada, Naomi's passion for the arts led her to pursue a degree in theater at the University of Waterloo and later at Ryerson Theatre School.
After completing her education, Naomi moved to Vancouver for five years, where she honed her skills as an actress, writer, and improviser. Her impressive portfolio includes numerous awards and nominations, including six CCA awards, an ACTRA award, and a Canadian Screen Awards nomination.
Naomi's impressive resume includes her work as a founding member and co-artistic director of The National Theatre of the World, a renowned improv group that has won five CCA awards. She has also been a member of The Second City Toronto, where she wrote and performed in five hit shows.
Naomi has performed in various theaters across Canada, including Canadian Stage in Toronto and The Arts Club in Vancouver. She has also hosted the prestigious Doras awards twice.
In addition to her stage work, Naomi has made a mark in film and television. Her film credits include the horror movie Saw 3D, the indie film Two 4 One, and the comedy-drama Happily Ever After. Her most notable role is as Bobbi Galka on CBC's Mr. D, opposite Gerry Dee, which earned her a Canadian Screen Awards nomination in 2015 and an ACTRA nomination in 2014.
