Biography

Natali Broods, a talented actress, was born near Antwerp, Belgium, and began her cinematic journey at the tender age of 19, while still in drama school. Her breakthrough role came when Guido Henderickx, the renowned director, handpicked her for the lead actress in his film "S". This early success was followed by her critically acclaimed performance in Tom Barman's "Anyway the wind blows" alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, earning her a Joseph Plateau Award in 2003. Shortly after, she appeared in Fien Troch's debut feature film "Someone else's happiness".

Natali's subsequent work included a string of short films and theater productions, showcasing her versatility as an actress. She played notable roles in "The Misfortunes" by Felix van Groeningen and "Hotel Swooni" by Kaat Beels, as well as opposite Jérémie Renier in Pieter Van Hees's "Waste Land", a film shot in both Dutch and French.

Her impressive filmography boasts multiple awards, including two Ensors for Best Actress in a Supporting role for "Galloping Mind" (2005) and Best Actress for "Façades" (Kaat Beels and Nathalie Basteyns).
