Natalia Elsie Warner was born at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath, England, to Nelia Chico (Reyes) and John William Warner, a union that brought together a rich tapestry of English, Russian, Italian, and Filipino heritage. Her childhood was a globe-trotting adventure, as her parents' family business, Chico's Crafts, a mobile exhibition selling Acacia wood carvings, required frequent moves between Manila, Philippines, and various locations in Europe.
Initially, Natalia's interactions with the performing arts were limited, as she was stage shy and afraid of being in the spotlight. However, her introduction to ballet at the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) and Classical Ballet Centre in Wiltshire, where she began training at the age of five, marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for the arts. Her first foray into singing came when she was asked to perform a solo rendition of Silent Night in a production of the Nativity at her first school, St. Mary's R.C, Chippenham. This experience instilled in her a desire to participate in as many creative productions as possible, as a means of building confidence and developing self-expression.
Natalia's academic pursuits also played a significant role in her development, as she joined the debate team and took part in public speaking competitions such as the Chrystall Prize for the Girls Day School Trust (GDST). In her teenage years, she became a member of the Bristol Old Vic Activ8 Youth Theatre, which further fueled her desire to pursue a lifelong career in the arts.
Despite her passion for the arts, Natalia's educational path was also marked by a focus on academia. She attended the all-girls boarding school The Royal High, Bath, where the primary focus was on academic achievement. She later moved to King Edward's (KES),Bath, for Sixth Form, with plans to study Medicine. However, her true calling lay in the drama department, where she performed starring roles in productions of The Crucible, Twelfth Night, Edward Scissorhands, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
