Prior to his foray into film, Milliner worked as a comic book artist, writer, and creator, eventually breaking into the film world in 2008 with the optioning of his comic book "Girl Number Three" for a feature film.
Throughout his career, Milliner has worn many hats, serving as screenwriter, producer, and director on various projects. One of his notable directorial efforts includes the 2011 feature film "A Wish for the Dead," which was based on one of his own comics.
