Nathaniel's journey in the entertainment industry began in 1998 with his screen acting debut in the feature film My Dog Skip, where he played the role of Sammy alongside notable actors such as Frankie Muniz, Luke Wilson, and Kevin Bacon.
In the following years, Nathaniel appeared in several notable films and television shows, including the blockbuster hit O Brother, Where Art Thou?, alongside George Clooney, and the PBS movie The Ponder Heart, alongside Peter McNicol, Jennifer Lewis, and JoBeth Williams.
However, it wasn't until Nathaniel moved to California that he landed his first lead role. In December 2001, at the age of 12, he played the character Jr. in the Martin Scorsese production The Blues: Warming by the Devil's Fire.
Nathaniel's next starring role was as Anthony in the Disney Channel Original Film Tiger Cruise, alongside actress Hayden Panettiere and Bill Pullman. He also appeared in the film Art School Confidential.
In addition to his film and television work, Nathaniel has done several national commercials.
After completing his education, Nathaniel graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Texas Southern University in Houston, TX in May 2016.
