Natsuki Imai, a multifaceted individual, hailing from Nagoya city, Aichi Prefecture, in Japan, has made a name for herself as a director and producer, showcasing her exceptional skills in the entertainment industry.
Imai's academic background is rooted in the prestigious Waseda University, where she earned her degree in literature from the institution's first literature department. However, her journey in the spotlight began much earlier, as a junior high school student, when she caught the attention of NHK's Children's Theater Company in Nagoya.
Under the guidance of the renowned Ei Higashi, Imai made her television debut as a student in the popular program "NHK junior high school diary" on May 24, 1987. This marked the beginning of her illustrious career, which would see her take on various roles, both on and off screen.
As a college student, Imai continued to nurture her passion for theater, actively participating in the theater company "Bicycle Kinklete" alongside her co-star and collaborator, Yu Tokuyi. This experience not only honed her acting skills but also provided her with valuable insight into the world of production, laying the foundation for her future endeavors as a director and producer.
