Born in Otukpo, Nigeria, Naveen was raised in a joint family in Delhi, where he completed his schooling and engineering. After graduating from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) in 2006, he joined Inductis in Gurgaon, working there for two years before relocating to Mumbai in 2008, where he briefly worked with JP Morgan Chase before transitioning to the film industry.
As a film enthusiast, Naveen had always been fascinated by Bollywood and wrote his first skit in Class 6. He was often teased by his cousins, earning the nickname "filmy encyclopedia," which ultimately led him to direct numerous skits and plays during his school and college days.
