Naveen Kaushik, a Delhi-born actor, embarked on his acting journey in the Delhi theatre scene at the tender age of 17 in 1999. Prior to that, he spent a summer honing his craft with The Theatre Action Group (TAG) under the guidance of renowned director Barry John. This marked the beginning of his association with various theatre groups in the Delhi college circuit, ultimately leading him to join Act One Art Group in 2002 under the mentorship of Mr. NK Sharma.
As a child of doctors, Naveen was naturally drawn to the extracurricular arts in school, with his passion for performance-driven activities being kindled at Delhi's General Raj's School. This early exposure to the arts would lay the foundation for his future endeavors.
Naveen's breakthrough in the film industry came about through a serendipitous encounter with Abhimanyu Ray at the YRF Studios casting office, which led to his portrayal of Nitin Rathode in "Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year". Since then, he has been involved in nearly 15 films, as well as three television and web-based shows.
When not working on acting projects, Naveen dedicates his time to running Improv Comedy Mumbai (ICM),India's sole improvisational education and performance institute. As a member of the country's best improv team, he has performed, instructed, and represented India at international improv festivals across Europe and North America.
