As the son and grandson of two accomplished actors, and the stepson of the renowned actor Van Johnson, Ned has had the opportunity to learn valuable lessons throughout his life. For instance, he has had the experience of being a background actor on several "Beach Blanket Bingo" films of the sixties, as well as numerous other films and TV shows. His performance in the remake of "Stagecoach" clearly demonstrates why he became a screenwriter and author.
Ned's featured role in the movie "California Dreaming" (1979),which he also wrote, further proved to him that he should stick to writing. He is the older of two sons of Keenan Wynn and Eve Lynn Kimmel, with his younger brother being Tracy Keenan Wynn.
